   RECITING TALBIYAH
Narrated 'Ubaidullah bin Abdullah: Ibn 'Abbas said, "Usama rode behind Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) from Arafat to Al-Muzdalifa; and then Al-Fadl rode behind Allah's Apostle from Al-Muzdalifa to Madina. Ibn Abbas added , "Both of them said , The prophet kept on reciting Talbiyah till he did the Ramy of Jamrat-al-Aqaba.

RECITE TALBIYA LOUDLY
Narrated 'Anas bin Malik : I heard them (companions of the prophet) reciting Talbiyah together loudly to the extent of shouting for Hajj and Umrah.

PROPHET'S TALBIYAH
Narrated Abdullah Ibn 'Umar: The Talbiya of Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) was: "Labbaika Allahumma Labbaik, Labbaika La Sharika laka Labbaik, Inna-l-Hamda Wan-Ni'mata Laka Wal-Mulk, La Sharikaa Lak."(I responded to Your Call O Allah, I respond to Your call, And I am obedient to Your orders, You have no partner, I respon to Your call, Truly all the praises and favours are Yours and all the dominion, And You have no partners .

RECITING THE TALBIYAH WHILE STANDING AND FACING THE QIBLAH
Narrated 'Nafi': Then (Ibn Umar ) ride on it , and after it got ready to set out , he would face Ka'bah while sitting on his mount . Then he would recite Talbiyah till he reached the boundaries of the Haram(or Makkah).
In another report Nafi; narrated:"And he (Ibn Umar) had seen the Prophet (may peace be upon him) doing the same ".

RECITING THE TALBIYAH ON 8TH DHUL-HIJJAH:
'Ata was asked whether one residing in Makkah can recite Talbiyah for Hajj? He said, " Ibn Umar used to recite Talbiyah on the day of Tarwiyah (8th of Dhul-Hijjah) only after offering the Zuhr(noon) prayer and after mounting over his mount. Ibn Umar said , "I did see that the Prophet (may peace be upon him)never started Talbiyah till his mount was ready for the journey.

RECITING TALBIYAH AND TAKBIR WHILE PROCEEDING FROM MINA TO ARAFAT
Narrated Muhammad bin Abu Bakr Al-Thaqafi: I asked Anas bin Malik while we were proceeding from Mina to Arafat,"What do you use to do on this day when you were with Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) ? Anas said,"Some of us used to recite Talbiyah and no body objected to that , and others used to recite Takbir and no body objected to that ".

ENTER TO MAKKAH AND LEAVE FROM
Narrated Nafi' : One reaching the Sanctuary (Haram) of Makkah, Ibn 'Umar used to stop reciting Talbiyah and then he would pass the night at Dhi-Tuwa and then offer the Fajr(morning) prayer and take a bath . He used to say that the Prophet (may peace be upon him)used to do the same.

IT IS PERMISSIBLE TO ENTER MAKKAH WITHOUT IHRAM
Narrated Jabber bin Abdulla Al-Ansari: Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) entered Makkah (and Qutaiba- another sub-narrator stated that he entered Makkah in the year of Conqueror or victory of Makkah ) wearing a black turb, but not wearing the Ihram.

THE CIRCUMAMBULATION OF KA'BA (TAWAF)
'Narrated Muhammad bin Abur-Rahman bin Nawfal Al-Qurashi : I asked 'Urwa bin Zaubai (regarding the Hajj of the Prophet (may peace be upon him ) 'Urwa replied ,"'Aisha Narrated ,"when the Prophet (may peace be upon him) reached Makkah, the first thing he started with was the ablution , then he performed Tawaf of the Ka'ba…"
'Narrated Ibn Abbas when Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) and companions came to Makkah, the pagans circulated the news that a group of people were coming to them and they had been weakened by the Fever of Yathrib (Madina) . So the Prophet (may peace be upon him) ordered his companions to do Raml in the first three rounds of circumambulating (Tawaf) of the Ka'ba and to walk between the two corners black stone and Yemenie Corner). The Prophet did not ordered them to do Raml in all the rounds of circumambulating (Tawaf) out of pity for them.

THE BLACK STONE : KISSING AND TOUCHING
Narrated ' Abis bin Rabia ': Umar came near the black Stone and kissed it and said , " No doubt , I know that you are a stone and can neither benefit any one , nor harm any one . Had I not seen Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) kissing you I would not have kissed you."

EXCELLENCE OF TOUCHING THE TWO CORNERS IN TAWAF 'Narrated Abdullah bin 'Umar (reported) that he had not seen Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) touching anything in the house , except the two Yamani corners .

SUPPLICATION WHILE GOING ROUND THE KA'BA
Narrated Abdullah bin As-Saib : I heard the Allah's Messenger (Peace and blessing be upon him) say between the two corners : O Allah ! Bring us a blessing in this world and a blessing in the hereafter, and guard us from punishment of Hell.

TO OFFER TWO RAKA'T AFTER THE TAWAF
'Narrated 'Abdullah bin Umar When Allah's Apostle (Peace and blessing be upon him) performed Tawaf of the Ka'ba for Hajj or 'Umra, he used to do Raml (fast walking) during the first three rounds, and in the last four rounds he used to walk; then after the Tawaf he used to offer two Raka't and then performed Sai'y between Safa and Marwa.
'Narrated ' Abdullah bin 'Umar : Allah's Apostle (Peace and blessing be upon him) arrived (in Makkah) and circumambulated the Ka'ba seven times , then offered two Raka't behind Maqam Ibrahim , (the station of Prophet Abraham) then performed Sai'y between Safa and Marwa .


RAISING HANDS WHEN A PILGRIM LOOKS AT THE HOUSE [KA'BA]
Narrated Abu Huraira : Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) came and entered Makkah , and after the Apostle of Allah (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) had gone forward to the stone , and touched it , he went round the house (Ka'ba) . He then went to As-Safa and mounted it so that he could look at the house . Then he raised his hands , began to make mention of Allah as much as he wished and make supplication .

SAI'Y BETWEEN SAFA AND MARWA
The statement of Allah:
Verily! (The mountains) As-Safa and Marwa are among the Symbols of Allah, and whoever performs the Hajj to the Ka'ba or perform 'Umra it is not harmful for him to perform Tawaf between them (Safa and Marwa) .
'Narrated 'Amr bin Dinar :
I heard Ibn 'Umar saying , "The Prophet (Peace and blessing be upon him) arrived at Makkah and performed Tawaf of the Ka'ba and then offered a two -Raka't prayer and then performed Tawaf (Sai'y) between Safa and Marwa ."Ibn 'Umar then recited (the verse) : "Verily! In Allah's Apostle (Peace and blessing be upon him) you have a good example ." (Holy Quran: Al-Ahzab: 21) Narrated 'Aisha "I was menstruating when I reached Makkah. So, I neither performed Tawaf of the Ka'ba , nor the Tawaf (Sai'y) between Safa and Marwa . Then I informed Allah's Apostle (Peace and blessing be upon him) about it . He replied, "perform all the ceremonies (rituals) of Hajj like the other pilgrims, but do not perform Tawaf of the Ka'ba till you get clean (from your menses)."

RITUAL OF THE DAY OF TARWIYAH:
N arrated Abdul Aziz bin Rufai I asked Anas bin Malik tell me what you remember from Allah's Apostle peace and blessing be upon him ) regarding these questions where did he offer the Zuhar (noon) and Asr ( after- noon ) prayers on the day of Tarwiyah (8th day of Dhul -Hijjah) ?he replied ( he offered these prayers at Mina ) I asked where did he offer the Asr on the day of Nafr ? he replied at Al-Abtah and then added you should do as your chiefs do.
Rituals of the Day of Arafah Fasting on the Day of Arafah

NARRATED MOHAMMED BIN ABU BAKR AL-THAGAFI:
I asked Anas bin Malik while we were proceeding from Mina to Arafa ,:What do you use to do on this day when you were with Allah's Apostle? Anas said : some of us used to recite Talbiyah and nobody objected to that ,and others used to recite Takbir and nobody objected to that . Narrated Umm -Ul Fadl people doubted whether the prophet (peace be upon him) was observing the fast on the day of Arafa so I sent something for him to drink and he drank it). Proceed at noon to Arafat:
Narrated Salim: Abdul Malik wrote to Al-Hajjaj that he should not differ from Ibn Ummar during Hajj on the day of Arafat when the sun declined at miday Ibn Omer came along me and shouted near Al-Hajjaj's cotton (cloth) tent . Al -Hajjaj came out wrapping himself with a waist -sheet dyed with safflower - and said O Adur-Rahman what is the matter? . He said if you want to follow the Sunnah (tradition of the prophet) then deliver a brief sermon and hurry up for the stay at Arafat .

SHORT AND COMBINE THE PRAYERS AT ARAFAT:

Abullah ibn Omer said:
They ( the companions of the prophet ) peace be upon him , used to offer the Zuhr and Asr prayers together according to the Sunnah " Ibn Shihab -the narrator- asked Salim , did Allah's Apostle do that .Salim said and in doing that do you (people ) follow anything else except his sunnah. Ibn Abbas reported that Allah's Messenger stayed at Makkah for nineteen days shortening the prayers and when we stayed (for a period) more than that we observed full prayer.


AL-MUZDALIFA: RETURN FROM ARAFAT :
Narrated Usamah bin Zaid : I rode behind Allah's Apostle and when we reached the mountain pass on the left side which is before Muzdalifa he made his camel kneel and then I poured water for his ablution ,he performed light ablution and then I said to him ( (it the time for )the prayer O'Allah Apostle . He replied: (the place of) prayer is ahead of you (i.e. at Al-Muzdalifa).

DEPART FROM AL-MUZDALIFA:
Narrated Salim : Abullah bin Omer used to spend the week among his family early to Mina so they used to depart from Al-Muzdalifa at night and invoke Allah as much as they could and then would return to Mina and when they reached Mina they would throw pebbles on the Jamra (Jammrat Al-Agabha) Ibn Omer used to say :Allah's Apostle ,(peace and blessing be upon him) gave the permission to them.

TAWAF AL-IFADHA
Narrated Ibn Abbas (Peace and blessing be upon him(The Prophet (Peace and blessing be upon him( Used to visit the House (Ka'ba) during the days of Mina.
Narrated Abu Az-Zubair from Aisha and Ibn Abbas (The prophet (Peace and blessing be upon him(delayed the visit till night
Narrated Naif that Ibn Umar (Peace and blessing be upon him) performed only one Tawaf he would take an afternoon nap and return to Mina that was on the day of Nahr ( slaughtering)

THE SERMON DURING THE DAYS OF MINA
Ibn Abbas (Peace and blessing be upon him) said Allah's Apostle (Peace and blessing be upon him) delivered a sermon on the day of Nahr and said O People (tell me) what is the day to day The people replied It is the forbidden (sacred ) day He asked again No doubt Your Blood Your Properties and your honor are sacred to one another Like the sanctity of this day of yours in this (sacred) town (Makkah) of yours in this month of yours The Prophet (Peace and blessing be upon him) repeated his statement again and again After that He raised his head and said O Allah Haven't conveyed Your Message to them Ibn Abbas added By Him in whose Hand my soul Is the following was His will ( Prophet's will) to His followers . It is incumbent upon those who are present to conferee this information to those who are absent Beware Don't renegade (as) disbeliever ( turn into infidels) after me striking the necks (cutting the throats) of one another .
In another report : Narrated Abu Bakrah (Peace and blessing be upon him) So It is Incumbent Upon those who are present to convey it (this Information) to those who are absent because the informed one might comprehend it (what I have said) better than the present audience who will convey it to him .

TO THROW PEBBLES AT JAMRAS
Jabir said the Prophet (Peace and blessing be upon him) did the ramiy on the Day of Nahr ( 10 th of Dhul - Hijjah) before Noon (this is only for Jamarat - ul - Aqabah) and then ( on the 11 Th and 12 Th sun ( after Zuhr Prayer) TO THROW PEBBLES AT JAMRAS FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE VALLEY Narrated Abdur- Rahman b. Yasid Abdullah Apostle (Peace and blessing be upon him) did the ramiy from the middle of the valley So I said O Abdur Rahman Some People do the ramiy ( of the Jamra) from above (from the top of the valley ) He said By him except whom none has the right to be worshipped here at this place stood the one on whom surat - al - Baqarah ( of the Holy Quran) was revealed ( i.e. Allah's Apostle (Peace and blessing be upon him) did the Ramiy.

TO THROW AT JAMRAS WITH SEVEN PEBBLES
Narrated Abdur - Rahman bin Yazid;
When Abdulla (Peace and blessing be upon him) reached the big Jamra ( I. E Jamrat al - Aqabah ) he kept the kaba on the left side and Mina on his right side and threw seven pebbles ( at the Jamra) and said The one on whom surat - al - Baqarah ( second chapter of the Holy Quran ) was revealed ( i.e. Allah's) Apostle ص had done the Ramiy similarly .

TO SAY ALLAUH - AKBAR ON THROWING EVERY PEBBLES
Narrated Al- A' mash Abdur Rahman Yasid told me I Jamart - ul A- Aqaba He went down the middle of the valley and when he came near the tree ( which was near the Jamrah) he stood opposite to it and threw seven small pebbles and said Allah - Akbar On throwing every Pebble then he said By Him except whom none has the right to be worshipped here ( at this Place) stood the one on whom surat - al Baqara was revaled ( i.e. Allah's) Apostle (Peace and blessing be upon him)

AFTER DOING RAMIY OF THE (OTHER) TWO JAMRAT [DUNYA AND WUSTA ONE SHOULD GO AND STAND ON LEVEL GROUND FACING THE QIBLA [KA'BA]
Narrated Salim Ibn Umar used to do ramiy of the jamrat - ud - dunya (the jamra near to the khaif mosque) with seven small stones and used to recite Takbir on throwing every pebble he then would go ahead till he reached the level ground where he would stand facing the qibla for a long time to invoke (Allah while raising his hands while invoking) Then he would do ramiy the jamrat ul- Wusta (Middle jamra) and then he would go to the left towards the middle ground where he would stand facing the Qibla He would remain standing there for a long period Then he would do ramiy of the Jamrat - ul _ Aqaba from the middle of the valley but he would not stay by it and then he would leave and say I saw the prophet doing like this .

TO PERFUME ONESELF AFTER DOING RAMIY OF THE JIMAR AND TO HAVE ONE'S HEAD SHAVED BEFORE AL- IFADA
Narrated Abdur - Raman bin Al Qassim I hear my father who was the best man of his age saying I heard Aisha saying I perfumed Allah 's Apostle while yet he has not performed tawaf- al Ifada she' spread her hands while saying so .

RITUALS OF THE DAY OF NAFR (DEPARTURE FROM MINA)
Narrated Abdul Aziz bin Rufai I asked Anas bin Malik (Tell me something you have observed about the prophet concerning where he offered the Zuhar prayer on the day of Tarwiyah ( 8 Th of Dhul- Hijjah) Anas replied He offered it at Mina I said Where did he offered the Asr ( after - noon) Prayer on the day of Nafr(1) he Replied At Al - Abath (2) and added You should do as your leaders do .

Narrated Anas Bin Malik: The Prophet (Peace and blessing be upon him) offered the Zuhr Asr Maghrib and Isha Prayers and slept for a while at a place called Al- Mahassab and then he rode towards the Kaba and performed tawaf (Al- Wada).

TAWAF AL- WADA Narrated Ibn Abbas The people were ordered to Perform the tawaf of the Kaba (tawaf Al - Wada') as the last thing Before leaving (Makkah) except the menstruating women who were excused.
Narrated Aisha Safiya bint Huyay the wife of the prophet go menses and Allah's Apostle (Peace and blessing be upon him) was informed of that he said would she delay us The people said she has already performed tawaf - Al Ifada He said therefore she will not ( delay us)

TRADING DURING THE TIME OF HAJJ
Narrated Bin Abase Dhul- Majaz and Ukase were the markets of the people during the pre- Islamic period of ignorance When the people embraced Islam they disliked to do bargaining there till the following Holy verses were revealed Of your lord (during hajj by trading etc) Holy Quran ( 2;198)

TO SAY ON RETURING FROM Hajj
Narrated Abdullah Inn Umar (Peace and blessing be upon him) returned form a ghazwa (Battle) Hajj or Umarh he used to say takbir thrice at every elevation of the ground and then would say (La Ilaha Illa -l- lahu wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahu-l- mulk wa lahu -l-Hamd wa huwa ala kulli shai'in qadir. Ayibun ta ibun abidun sajidun lirabbina hamdun. Sadqa- I-lahu wa'dahu, wa nasara abdahu wahazama-l-ahzaba wahdahu".[None has the right to be worshipped but Allah; He is One and has no partner. All the kingdoms is for Him, and all the praises are for Him and He is Omnipotent. We are returning with repentance, worshipping prostrating, and praising our Lord .He has kept up His promise and made His slave victorious, and He Alone defeated All the clans of ( Non - Believers) The statement of Allah But If your are prevented form complete it i.e. Hajj or Umrah) sacrifice a hadi (i.e.) sheep or a cow or a camel ) such as you can afford and do not shave your heads until the offering reaches the place of sacrifice ( Quran 2:196)
Narrated Salim (Abdullah) Ibn Umar Used to say Is not (the following of) the tradition of Allah's Apostle ( may peace be Upon him ) Sufficient for You if anyone of you is prevented form performing hajj, he should perform the tawaf of the kaba and Sai'y between Al- Safa and Al- Marwa and then finish the Ihram and everything will become legal for him which was Illegal for him ( during the state Of Ihram) and he can perform Hajj in a following year and he should slaughter a Hadiy or fast in case he cannot afford the hadiy.
