Riyadh, KSA, October 11-13, 2015 Naseej the Arab world’s leader in Knowledge Management Solutions sponsors the Second Saudi International Conference of Scientific Publishing 2015 (SICSP 2015) to be held at King Saud University, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on October 11-13, 2015.
The conference puts high on its agenda several key objectives, including assessing the current situation of publishing in the Arab world. Participants will also study the challenges and constraints of publishing in the Arab world and ways to overcome them. Special focus will be on the roles, duties and responsibilities entrusted to the Editors in Chief and members of the Editorial Boards.
The conference will elaborate on the scientific publishing challenges in the Arab world, especially the indexing and ranking of journals, as well as the difficulties faced by Arab researchers to publish in globally recognized journals. Also, the event will assess the scientific publishing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; while highlighting the global key performance indicators adopted in this regard. These indicators will provide a key guideline to the development of the Saudi journals, in order to enhance the quality of their publications and, finally, qualify them to be indexed in the international databases. The conference seeks to promote a culture of excellence in scientific publishing.
